How much time do I need to volunteer?
Most roles start at 10–20 hours per month. We size the commitment to your schedule.
Is volunteering remote?
Yes—mostly remote. We occasionally run local events; those are optional.
What roles are available?
Group producer, intake & follow-ups, events support, and short skills projects (admin/design/research).
Do I need lived experience with the justice system?
No. Lived experience is welcome, not required. We’ll train you on context and boundaries.
Will I get training?
Yes—quick onboarding, role playbooks, shadowing, and a responsive staff channel.
Are background checks required?
Only for specific roles (e.g., in-person facility work). We’ll let you know if it applies.
What if I miss a session?
Tell us as early as possible. We’ll reassign coverage and keep things moving.
How do you protect participant privacy?
Volunteers sign a confidentiality and conduct agreement; we follow clear escalation paths and trauma-informed practices.
